I was diagnosed with fatty liver a year ago by my oncologist since from tests appeared as though it could be liver cancer so she did further testing. However, she is not treating me for it since that is not.her area of expertise. What type of doctor are each of you seeing for your Fatty Liver?

Hi Teresa

You should try to find a heptologist, a liver specialist, or at a minimum a gastro doc with a liver sub-specialty. Liver cancer is a specific risk for advanced fatty liver so many of us a monitored for it.
