Okay, I told yall a few weeks ago, Medicaid said I had to have an ultrasound and then a liver biopsy before they would pay for my hepc meds. They made me do it. So I did it. They won't pay for my meds, in their eyes I am too far advanced, so let me die. Now I get a letter in the mail saying I have exceeded my 500.00 maximum amount for the whole year for labs and x-rays, MRIs and such. They made me do it, is it not there fault I exceeded my maximum allotment for the year, mind you this is only Feb???. This is not fair, considering I have t have MRIs on a brain tumor every 3 months, plus ultrasound every 6 months on my liver, plus labs every 3 months. WTF, am I supposed to do? If I didn't do those tests they told me to do, I would be okay, since they denied me anyway. I am so frustrated I can't even stand to be around myself.

I am so very sorry you're going through this, it must be horrendous. I can't stand the medical system (profits before people) I wish I could offer you a solution, but you certainly will have my prayers.

This mess is in the hands of congress. Any chance you can talk with your Congressmen and your local state government. Until we complain loudly enough nothing can change.
I am working on it
I found an organization here in Ar, that has grants to help people like me (us), they pay evene the doctor visits. I went thtough program, they sent me a paper said I was approved nd they would be dending out my hepC medication right away, well its been 2 months, and no medication, so my cirrhosis is getting worse because I cant stop the Hep from hurting it, once the Hepc is gone, the damage to my liver will slow down. I m getting really worried. I hope this new place help, they seem to be great, they even give you gift cards for gas to make sure you get to your appointments, and since I live 2 hours away, they will give me a voucher at a hotel if I am to tired to drive home, and gift card for blankets and food or whatever I need at walmart.
