CBD oil?

Hi everyone I was wondering if anybody out there took any CBD oil? I have Nash, but I also have terrible menopausal symptoms and someone told me to take a couple of drops of CBD oil and I didn't know if it was totally safe or not. My doctor is no help in this area and I'm on a blood pressure medicine and a Statin. Any info would be helpful thank you.

Today is Jul 27, 201*. I was diagnosed with NASH two weeks ago. The discomfort in the upper-right quadrant of my abdomen was mildly intense. I may also have sclerosing cholangitis and/or idiopathic biliary sclerosis. I began using CBD oil and Milk Thistle in capsule form three days before the ultrasound (July 15, 201*) that diagnosed my NASH. IMHO, remediation of my NASH is well under way. Indeed, every day I feel a wellness that surpasses that of the previous day. Would I recommend CBD oil and Milk Thistle? Absolutely. But knowledge about diet and nutrition is crucial for resolving the symptoms. Good luck!

I take CBD oil daily for knee pain and other general aches. It's supposed to help obtain benefits in several areas, cognitive, fights cancer, neuropathy,

Prevents Alzheimer's. It also helps me sleep better. Most doctors don't support it's usage. I have cirrhosis from long term NAFLD, recent biopsy results showed adenocarcinoma so I'm open to options.

I see him on Tuesday but he doesn't seem to know much about liver disease is just a general idea. He's rather arrogant and I wish I could go to somebody else.

I go to a Digestive Disease doctor. He’s very up to date on liver diseases. If you have one in your area.

I live in California so we have many options for cbd oil and cannabis. I was able to consult with someone at a dispensary who helped me figure out potential products and dosages. It is still a trial and error process, but I was in constant pain before. I also use triphala (a blend of Ayurvedic herbs) and a milk thistle blend for liver detoxification. I also joined a group exercise class to help me build muscle. I am no longer constantly exhausted, am losing weight and the pain has improved dramatically.

My liver expert had only said that cbd/cannabis could be helpful, but nothing specific. The only things she can offer is monitoring and a recommendation to lose weight. She is quite sympathetic and knowledgeable but sorting through this has definitely been a challenge and quite frustrating at times. Am very thankful to have this group as a resource.

I was wondering the same. I have Nash, as well, I'm bi-polar, depression and have sever anxiety, not to mention a sever case of acid reflux and chronic fatigue and chronic constipation. The pain some days is really unbearable. I can not smoke weed since I get random monthly urine tests. Someone suggested CBD oil, but some have .3% THC. I dont know if that will show in a urine test. Any thing would be great to help with the pain. I was waiting for someone to ask on here, thank you! Lol.

More info for you. There is such a thing as “Pure CBD”. This would be for anyone who would get wizz quizzed and told that they test for trace amounts. It absolutely doesn’t have THC! Now, that too depends upon which company you go thru. I was so impressed with Hempire in Wasilla AK that I am waiting on my first wholesale order to get here (MT) to sell retail. You really need to do your homework and learn not to buy “snake oil”. We tried many different companies and thankfully Hempire is superior to all of them. It is grown in AK and 3rd party tested. I actually know the owner. Don’t let that fool you, I seriously tested the products before I would recommend them. You should know you don’t take large doses at the beginning. Your body needs to adjust then as you continue to be consistent you can adjust daily to your needs. If you’re not coming off opiates, then 1/3 dropper 2 times a day for the first week should be goo out of the 1000mg btl. Then go to 3 times a day. The 85$ btl should get you a month at 3 doses a day. Can’t say enough good about a great product. Hugs!!

Hopefully this will get to you with blessings. My husband was diagnosed in 2013 via the VA. As we were outsourced thankfully, we got a great liver doc. Sadly, my hubby was diagnosed with NASH. So as meds were prescribed, and other veteran issues are involved, one day in 2017 hubby just didn’t want to deal with all the drugs the VA had him on. So CBD came into the picture. It may as well have been real gold! The ticket now that 2 years have passed is mg per dose and the brand! After many trials we came across Hempire Full Spectrum 1000 mg. The edema has seriously gone down and in the last 2 years his lab pics have shown no swelling in his liver, spleen or legs. So, what we know is CBD at the right mg does wonders because inflammation is what causes the NASH to increase. Hubby has less than 20% usage and is in end stage since 2013! Thank you CBD!! Prayers are on there way for you!!

More on this:) CBD oil and smoking pot are completely 2 different things. Smoking causes the THC to be activated and that is dangerous, basically to the liver. CBD oil doesn’t really have THC to speak of. Please don’t confuse the 2.

That's a real serious article and at times it was hard to read but from what I understand CBD oil can be very therapeutic for a fibrotic liver. I have the potential to get medical cannabis in the state that I live. I have many health issues it could potentially help. I don't want to be crazy and stoned out of my mind however. I'm wondering that if I were to get some oil that was mostly cat cannabinoid oil with only a small amount of THC if that would still be beneficial.

CBD doesn’t get you high. It can’t. Please read my comments above. Blessings

Yes, try a strain call The Wife, is is 5% or less THC, you can get it from a medical marijuana dispensary, I get it in oil form and mix it with MCT oil and ingest it. Don't know if that is too much THC for the liver or not.

I use CBD oil and Hemp products from Hempworx a brand offered by My Daily Choice. 3rd party tested. They used Hemp Oil as the carrier oil. Don't take someone else's advice on how much to take because what works for one person won't be appropriate for another and you don't know the strength of what they are taking to compare. Some brands add other supplements or use MCT oil or other oils as a carrier and this impacts the effect and dose. Start slow with say 5 drops twice a day and move up every week until you find what works for you. If you want more info on Hempworx please let me know. There are relief creams to address discomfort, lotions, facial and hair products. Also essential oils of all kinds without alcohol are beneficial.
