Dear all,

Why do multiple sources say that Nash causes unexplained weight loss? I don't understand why the body would do this?

The liver has a big role to play in digestion. The bile that it produces is needed to be able to emulsify fats so that it can be processed by the digestive enzymes. There are other ways that the digestive system is disrupted so that is just an example of things that can lead to weight loss. It is a sign of dysfunction in the energy processing systems. People have different responses to failing function so it doesn't happen with everyone
