I have been reading some of the information on the site and,haven't posted yet. I had fatty liver disease for years. About 3 years ago I developed cirrhosis. I take lactilose and xifaxan. I have a gastroenterologist. I have enlarged spleen and liver, portal hypertension. Also encephalopathy. Have pain in my left side. No energy and feel bad all the time. I was wondering has anyone dear with this. Especially the side pain. Does it get better ? And is their anything I can do ? Thanks

Hi Preacher

The symptoms you described are well known by many people here, except for the left side pain. It is common to have right side pain since the liver is there, less common for left side. We aren't doctors so can't tell you much but pancreas difficultly is often on the left. It would be good to understand what that is.

I'm sorry it took so long to reply. I have been ill for a while. I have a gastroenterologist Dr. They don't really say much. I really felt better for a while but now I'm not as well. I go to Dr in a week or so. I have good days and bad days. I pray you are having a good day. God Bless
