Extreme fat belly and bloat. Incidental finding in MRI abdomen. Slight fatty infiltration. Should I follow up? Like everyone else was told everyone has this. Always attribute symptoms to gastritis and IBS. How about back pain. Maybe this is problem I have been trying to figure out for myself. So sick of it all. No one helps. M

Hi, thanks for joining our community. If you have slight fatty liver it is probably not your primary concern but you definitely don't want it to get worse. There is lots of good info in this community so browse the posts and could you offer some words of encouragement to other people with similar concerns? You can probably find that there are lots of things you can take control of like your diet and how much you exercise that will help. Best of luck and keep in touch with the community!

In my research fluid retention and bloating is common for us, but doctors don't tend to know this. As for the back pain, could be something else but yes if you're having the pain worse when your bloat gets worse then it may be pressing on a nerve
