Below is a link to an article which cites quite a few scientific articles for you to research further if you should wish to:

Another helpful starting point is here: healthunlocked.com/fasting-...

Dr Mindy Pelz regularly runs live fasting sessions and advises women how to time their fast to their cycle. Here is a podcasts where she explains how she goes about creating a bespoke plan for individual women according to their hormonal patterns: straightup.show/056-dr-mind...

Fasting and fertility: there is some evidence that fasting can affect the fertility of both men and women positively:gulfnews.com/uae/fasting-he...

However please bear in mind that a long fast close to ovulation could suppress ovulation regulating hormones for that cycle, and possibly reduce fertility. Again please see Dr Pelz's work cited above.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding Fasting is NOT recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Please speak to your GP or Health Visitor if you have any questions about this.

Fasting and menopause: This article makes a good case for fasting alleviating some menopause symptoms: menopausecentre.com.au/info...
