This is an interesting video... the first 25 minutes are a bit technical... but the message is that (refined) carbohydrates, poly-unsaturates and fructose "might cause" cancer and ketosis, (Intermittent) Fasting, LCHF seems to stabilise or prevent it. Maise is a major source of fructose in the US.
I think that there are some studies of examples where autophagy has, to some extent at least, reversed cancer.
