Badges now available to members.

β€’16 Replies

Hi everyone,

I've created some badges that members can apply for and we now have:

IF12, IF16, IF2O. Because badges are designed for text we are limited to letters and numbers so 5:2 is not available but you can have Five2. I want to keep things plain and simple so they're obvious and am open to suggestions.

And weight loss badges of 2Kg upwards with 1Kg increments are also available. Again this keeps things simple and self explanatory.

For a badge please just ask, so if you send me a private message I'll assign your badge.

Thanks,

Jerry 😊

...and we can only have one badge displayed at a time?

Are we going to be metric-only, or will imperial weight-loss badges be available?

This is a good question S11m and the simple answer is we can combine badges, so for instance we can have a Star IF18 volunteer 2Kg or 2Kg IF16 and variations of a theme basically we can create our own within the parameters.

I thought it best to use Kg's for simplicity, one thing I really like about using Kg's is 1L of water weighs 1Kg. I know 1 pint weighs 1lb. But with metric, 1ml of water is 1mg so it's easy peasy to calculate the weight of liquids.

But I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks, Hidden I appreciate you going to the trouble to create custom badges. Could you please write me one saying:

Volunteer 20Kg 1F20

Would that be too long?

Hi S11m, thank you for your efforts too, I've created your badge.

my daily eating pattern is 13 hours from last food to breakfast, but two or three days per week I do 16 hours. I originally started with 5:2 and I really like it, but as a side effect I have found my other days have stabilized at the 13 hours till breakfast. Would that be a 5:2 badge do you think?

Hi sunny369, this sounds really good to me so good for you and I agree that a Five2 (5:2) badge is very apt.

Please just let me know if you want to change it.

Thank you,

Jerry 😊
