Intermittent fasting made my depression worse. The irony was my friends said how well I looked. I am back to calorie counting and feel much better, however i apparently don't look as well as I did.

I’m glad you have found a way that suits you better 😊 It proves the point that there is no single ‘best’ way to lose weight, we are all different

Did you transition into IF, or "switch" to it?

You generally do not need to count calories if you IF, but you can count calories and IF - or just gradually reduce the length of your "eating window".

How long did you take to transition?

What IF were you using?

I was counting calories for 3 months then gradually introduced iF. I had a maximum of 700 calories a day for 2 days of the week. It didn't work for my mental health but I did lose 3 stone 5lbs in 5 months.
