Worried Mother of 14 year old Son.

Hello all,

Hoping coming here will help as there is not much online particular to my situation.

My son who is 14, started puberty at age 12 and is very active and healthy has wet the bed the past two nights. Needless to say he and I are both very confused and worried about this considering he has never, not even right after potty training at age two, wet the bed ...

I am looking for any information, help, similar situations, next steps, etc ...

Our medical appointment is not until tomorrow at 4pm so we will hopefully find out more tomorrow but any help or if anyone has a similar situation I would appreciate the help and insight.

Dear WorriedMotherof1 , puberty can affect levels of the hormone Vasopressin (which tells our kidneys to concentrate the wee at night).

There may be other reasons such as constipation, urine infection or not drinking enough during the day (strong wee can irritate the bladder)
