unsure about disimpaction

Hi

We have been doing a disimpaction for the last 2 weeks. We achieved watery pop with bits in (3 occasions over 24 hours) however today we have had type 6 again. She is still on 12 sachets. I was going to reduce to 10 tomorrow but not sure she is clear if we’ve had type 6 today.

Any ideas? Is she done? We’ve both had enough.

Thanks for reading from a fed up mum and 9 year old.

We found we needed watery stools with no lumps consistently for a few days before we started reducing the doses down extremely slowly ie one sachet every few days until we reached a suitable maintenance dose to remain on. You may have stopped too soon.

I haven’t stopped. She had 12 yesterday. Just not sure what to do today.

Carry on until she has watery stools with no lumps consistently for a few days then reduce extremely slowly ie one sachet every few days.

question - she had 4 this morning and her poo was type 6. This is after having watery stools on Tuesday and wednesday… she had a type 6 Wednesday afternoon too. She has since had another 8 sachets but no more bowel movements. Could it be she is clear and the sachets are now making her too loose?
