My son is 11 and is just transitioning to High School from Primary. Unfortunately he has a very over active and dysfunctional bladder resulting in quite severe incontinence. We have been through the entire A to Z of medical treatments, with little success!! He has managed through primary school by using pullups. However, over the last six months or so, the continence nurse has encouraged him to try a leg bag. This has taken a bit of getting used to and can make him a bit sore, although it is definitely more discreet than wearing pads. What he (and I) are really worried about is teasing and bullying at his new school. We have had a meeting with the deputy head and his head of year 7, who are both very reassuring, but they are not the other children!! How have others got on with the transition to High School and does anyone have any tips?
