My son had the same trouble with movicol I went to a GP in a hospital and they told me to increase the amount I was giving him which I was giving him one sachet a day and he was having tummy pains I didn't agree with him so I took him to my GP practice and a GP in a different hospital and was told when he starts going to decrease the amount to one every 2-3 days and that had stopped the pain in his tummy and he still manages to go if I was you I would recommend going to a different GP hope he feels better soon
