I'm currently disimpacting my 2yr old, he's on 6 sachets of movicol / day to move up to 8 tomorrow, how do I know when it's complete?

He's currently passing type 7 very pale stools but not like water that I can see in others posts does anyone have a photo what it should be like he was very impacted on his xrays so want to make sure we've got it all out

Thank you in advance

Once you get the rusty water looking stools stay there for a few days before you start reducing the doses down extremely slowly, ie one sachet every three days until you reach a suitable maintenance dose to remain on.

Sorry to jump on this post but also disimpacting our 4 year old. He has had 7 sachets the last two days and it’s more watery but there are still large lumps of poo in it, are we aiming for literally brown water with no lumps at all??
