My son(6) has been on movicol for 2 weeks12 a day for a week with senna, still not liquid for 3 days not sure what to do. He had 1 poo a day as no. 7 in chart then went back down to a 5 or 6. He’s been off school whilst we do it but we don’t seem to be getting results. What should I do

Keep going it can take time. Dont give up, it will happen and it's worth doing properly otherwise you will end up back to square one again. Are you mixing the movicol with the correct amount of water per sachet? Is he drinking enough fluids on top of the movicol as this does not count towards their daily allowance of fluids.

He’s drinking plenty and each sachet is mixed right. His specialist has said to stick to senna and reduce to 4 sachets. Still off his food and having tummy ache

The problem with reducing the movicol is that the blockage can still be there and the senna is often not enough to get rid of it. Are you seeing a paediatric gastroentologist?
