Hi my 5 year old daughter has been weeing every 20 mins for the past week, I took her to the doctors and they tested her wee, although a smal trace of protein they didn’t think it was an infection she’s fine in herself they did give antibiotics to see if this made a difference, it hasn’t!

Pulling my hair out as it’s so constant and most times it’s just a dribble, has anyone been through this please

Hi there. This might well be that she is constipated. The bowel could be impacted and pressing on her bladder which gives her the sensation of needing a wee.

Constipation, a full bowel will be pushing down on the bladder. Encourage regular toilet sits throughout the day and address the constipation with an osmotic laxative and plenty of water.
