Hi

My 3 year old daughter has been on Senna and Movicol every day now for a month and she has done very well so far going to the toilet for a poo every morning. I want to wean her off now but how do I do it, I’m scared if I stop the Senna she’s not going to go again and start withholding poo and dirtying her pants. Any advise welcome

How long was she constipated beforehand? General rule of thumb is to stay on the medication for as long as the issue persisted in the first place.

About 3 months I would say. So I’ll keep her on the meds for a bit longer then
