Fermenting fibre?! Weaning baby...

Hi! I found you on my everlasting search for answers!

My 10 month old has always had issues. I’m breastfeeding so he gets some Covid antibodies, but we’re both dairy free, he’s having a reaction to eggs and has had severe reflux 🥺

We think the reflux is under control but he still wakes many many 😫times a night screaming in pain. GP Has finally agreed to pass him on to paeds but I think it seems like his digestive system is bubbling too much - as if he’s fermenting. Now I’ve found info on fermenting fibre but not enough that I can actually understand it 🙈

Does anyone have tips or info ?

Thank you from a very very sleep deprived, dragged through a hedge backwards, still in my pjs mum xxxxx

my daughter was just the very same.dont worry.it will completely change once you stop breastfeed. I fed for good 18 months continuously both day and night.i have never slept one peaceful night throughout that 18 months.but it got improved and changed 100% fine once feeding is weaned.please bear for 2 more months and you can start weaning little one from breastmilk

Oh thank you - I keep waiting for him to grow out of it but we’re not getting there yet.

I’m reading up about healthy fats now. Because he’s dairy and egg free maybe he’s not getting enough fat 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
