Lockdown wetting

My son, who has just turned 7, has wet the bed every night during lockdown - so for about the last 4 months. He has been dry at night since the age of 2 and a half. Have checked urine samples with the doctor - no physical reason. He can't articulate any worries or fears, and says he's fine. However, we're all suffering with the broken nights, him most of all.

What can we do? Should we spend some nights in 'Drynites' to give everyone a break? Do we just wait for it to end?

Advice much appreciated. Thanks.

I have had the exact same with my 8 and a half year old dry every night from the age of 3 then 4 months of this! Only difference being we had a bereavement at the early stages of lockdown and she doesn’t wake up or know until the morning. We have been using dry notes for the last month. And the bed washing not being done every night has done us all wonders. I just call them special pants as I don’t want to call them nappies at her age I don’t want her to feel embarrassed and I got her to make the choice I told her about the pants at night that would mean we don’t have to change the bedding every day and Pyjamas and her room wouldn’t smell she was the one to decide it’s okay to try them. We still act as if she’s not wearing them though she sees before bed no drinks a few hours before only sips if needed. We aren’t out the other side yet but we have had 1 or 2 nights where we have had a dry night still trying to get to the bottom of why it’s happening though so would love to here some tips and potential reasons why it’s happening also!
