My little girl is 3.5 and we’ve struggled with constipation for at least a year. We got it under control with using laxido however we’ve had a bit of a bump in our journey and she’s currently struggling to pass her stools. This has been going on for over 36 hours. She is fine until she needs to go, then we are on the toilet for over an hour. I’ve tried putting her in the bath and all sorts and she just cannot move this poo. I’ve been upping her laxido and she’s now had 5 sachets so I will continue to up them but I just don’t know how to help her when she’s on the toilet? Does anyone have any advice? We’ve never had this where she physically can’t go.
Thanks

I would only allow her to stay on the toilet for 10 minutes then take her off. Try adding a stimulant such as senna to help stimulate her bowels, the laxido will only soften the stool, it sounds like she needs an extra bit of help pushing out the poo.
Exercise, plenty of water and a goid routine, will help. I'll be trying a suggestion about bubbles for the toilet, they have to concentrate and relax while doing bubbles on the toilet. So that should be fun. Sweetcorn and fig syrup works on my sdaughter for the week we have her. She'll be constipated when she comes back to us. Happy easter
