Hi, so my LB is almost 4 and will be starting school in September. We have tried and tried so many time with potty training but with no success. Only a hand full of time has he managed to get to the potty but not without seeing all the way to it. And never a poo in the potty. I’m starting to worry that he has no control of his bladder. I was wondering if anyone on this site has had or is having the same experience. Starting to feel super pressurised now with him starting school and I think he’s the only one not potty trained in his nursery group. I would be so greatful of any advice anyone could offer xxx

My 6 year old is not much better than she was aged 2 when we started training her. She wets constantly every day. Just to say you’re not alone. She wears pads and school check her at intervals through the day. I used to think it would be horrendous having an incontinent child in school but her school are lovely. Get a referral to school nurse once he starts then they will refer you to the continence nurses etc. There’s so much pressure to get them dry. Sometimes it’s just not possible.
