Update from last hospital visit

My son is no better sometimes he has a week of leaking and then he gets a few days of being a “normal kid”. I feel so sorry for him he worries bout days out when he should be enjoying himself especially now it’s the holidays!

Anyway’s the royal free Hospital have decided he needs to be referred to Great Ormond Street Hospital and we are just waiting for his first appt letter now!! The results of his colon transit test have shown that actually his problem could be his stomach as over 90% of the shapes were left in his stomach after a week

There seems to be light at the end of tunnel! After a look at GOSH website and reading a pdf from the motility department it looks like a long road

I hope your son's appointment comes through soon and he gets the help he needs. There's info on our website for children and teens which you could show him as a way of reassuring him how common these problems are in young people and that he's not alone. Alina@ERIC
