Tamsulosin user 3yrs... and despite some online opinions it definitely DOESN'T stop ED... I'm a healthy fit 61yr old... with normal healthy attitude to sex...but have struggled to feel anything like hardness since using this drug..also semen production is less than a third volume now too. Heard alpha blockers like tamsulosin aren't to be used with enhancers like viagara ..cialis etc. due to low blood pressure side effects. Really desperate now and tempted to try something but not if put me at any risk. Any advice welcome 🙏

Look into injections. Ask your urologist.
You might also search the internet for "sex without an erection," and/or "sex without penetration."
One sometimes has to make lemonade out of lemons.
Enjoy what you do have.
I’m in my mid70s in UK, and suffered with ED since my 50s solved by Cialis/tadalafil first at 10mg then 20mg as required. When frequent peeing became an issue, I’ve been taking Tamsulosin each morning 2 yrs now, combined with 5mg daily Tadalafil at bedtime. No side effects and can usually sleep through the night without peeing.
For sex, I’ve switched to 100mg Viagra which also works OK. My blood pressure is normal, and I’ve had no side effects from this regime.
on the Cialis I had some stuffy head and headaches with it. Helped after prostate/cancer removal. But painful erections after Dr cut into chamber of penis during 2nd surgery caused me to stop the Cialis ..
Thanks for your post, I also take tamsulosin I’m 47 and taken it for years and my ejaculate volume is also very reduced, maybe I can put that down to the meds, have you found problem with the force of ejaculation too? Obviously I know I’m not getting any younger but barely any power to it at all 🤷🏼♂️
For sure tamsulosin has zip to do with ED. I recommend tadalafil/Cialis. According to legend that works for BPH as well as ED, but for sure should help with your ED.
There might be something of interest to you on the DailyStrength masturbation site:
Flomax is taken to relax smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck to let urine flow more freely.
In 2011, the U.S. FDA approved daily Cialis for men who have both BPH and ED.
Should be a no-brainier: get a Rx for daily Cialis 5mg, then discontinue the flomax; the cialis will do what the flomax does: relax the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck to let urine flow more freely; daily cialis also has other health benefits, flomax doesn't...
Been there, done that. Bimix injections (or Trimix) work. The injections are usually painless, done with a 31 ga insulin needle. It's intimidating at first but worth it. Not sure of availability in the UK.
