Leakage when excited

Had prostate removed about 3yrs now. Have a penile implant. When I get excited I leak urine. Help!

Welcome to our little group. Sorry you have the leakage problem. That must be frustrating for you. I assume the implant is working well?

I guess if it were me I would sit down with my urologist and see what kind of test might reveal the cause. Without knowing particulars beyond what you've stated, I would consider the AMS 800 urinary sphincter.

Getting the implant was a sensible choice. Must have been a poor ED outcome from the RP. The erectile recovery results from all forms of RP surgery stand at 37%.

Check with Tall__Allen, our resident resource person who's quite knowledgeable. He might have some ideas for you.

henryjohnson48, just a suggestion if your leakage continues to get worse as time goes on. I do not have a penile implant but after years of doing ok following Prostate Cancer surgery I became quite incontinent to the point where my urologist suggested having an Artificial Urinary Sphincter (AUS) installed. Minor surgery done and it solved all my incontinence problems. I highly recommend the procedure. Good luck.
