I have JME but will be using Epanutin, is that a good idea as I have Shingles?

I am been taken off Lamictal and will be put on Epanutin, I forgot to mention to my Epilepsy Specialist that I have Shingles [not at the moment] would that clash with the Epanutin, with skin rashes?

Sorry about that but this primarily a question for your doctor and your neurologist.

I hope that you keep well.

Thanks Richard, because, I've been informed and later confirmed by a Epilepsy nurse, Shingles is a virus [a one off I hope!] it will not come into the equation of a reaction with Epanutin! I have been on Lamictal [and various other types of medication] for eighteen years, it has always been a problem when changing it's 'partner' it can have very nasty side effects, on it's own, I had been warned about it's nasty side effects "Get off that Lamictal!!" by a Neurological Surgeon in 2004, but declined!

Feeling confident now!
