Sorry to hear about your pains, do you use any pain killers?

Where abouts is the pain?

I have pain all the time, and if I feel any twinges I don't do the do, as I know it will only irritate it and become worse. I know what you mean needing to sleep off the pain. It's not cool.

I would go and speak with your gyna because they are meant to help with painful intercourse, as it can cause damage to a relationship and also psychologically ie becoming scared at every occasion making it hurt due to tension and fear.

I hope you get it sorted, don't worry I'm sure many of us are in a similar situation. Very frustrating, I would be interested too, to know what others do? X

Hey,

Sorry I didn't put much info with this ... First time poster lol x I've been going to the specialist all year as I had my second lap in may,I had all my usual problems with getting over the procedure and struggled getting use to the coil.

When I saw the specialist 3 weeks ago she did offer to take it out since it wasn't working as we hoped it would but after a year of being ill I wanted a break from treatment.

Since then I've had bad pains in what I assume is my womb and ovaries, especially when I need the loo, I alternate between paracetcel, ibuprofen, diclofenac and tramadol. It was just criminology eve when my bf and I started to get intimate I feel a small pain and knew something wasn't right but ignored it then within a minute or two my body completely locked up in intense pain .... My bf couldn't even touch my lower body to try and help soothe it without me screaming.

When I woke up Xmas day I was a little sore and had pinkish discharge but was otherwise fine.

I don't know what to do since this doesn't happen all the time and this year alone has cost me a total bomb in doctors bills.

i had the coil fitted around 11 years ago, absolutely hated it it was so uncomfortable the whole time needless to say it didnt last long.

my partner and i dont have a physical relationship as such, once every few weeks when the pain subsides and then it is a case of dont think just to aot of spontaneity, i always have pain after intercourse but i have a bath and painkillers as soon as were done which eases it slightly gives me a chance to be a wuss and shed a few tears over how painful it was and is.

ive been referred to a colposcopy clinic to see about the pain and the bleeding which occurs, my gynae is passing the buck i fear.

hope you feel better soon xx

Hi I have had endometriosis for years, only diagnosed at 24. Even had appendix removed which were fine but ended up with a bad infection, anyway sexual intercourse has always been sore apart from when I was 3 years clear after my third laparoscopy.

My pain is back and so it hurts again when having intercourse, my Husband is very supportive and we dont do it as he hates seeing me in pain. I do try other things with him I know it's not the same and sometimes I dont even do this due to pain. Sorry not much help.x x
