Sharp stabbing pains!

i've been getting these really sharp stabbing pains, it happens without any warning and when i get it it hurts so much! i was just laying down last night in bed, and just got these sharp stabbing pains again and was in agony, they don't last very long.. about 2 minutes or so! but it's not normal is it? does anyone else get these? :S

I have the mirena coil in, so i'm never sure when i'm going to have a period! but sometimes it happens and i won't even get a period at all, and then sometimes i'll get this pain a couple of days before i have a period and then it's just painful the whole time before and during! Is that what it might be? I didn't realize ovulation pain was that bad

I get these especially before ovulation or my period but also throughout the month. It is an endo symptom, I have just had a laparoscopy to remove the endo so I will let you know once I have healed properly if I still get them. Have you had a lap to remove the endo and if so when was it and did you still get the pains post-lap?

I have had an op in february this year, and i still get pains now yeah :/

Yes I get those too horrible, but I was diagnosed with endrometiosis and a stuck bowel to my womb, go get it checked out as soon as you can don't put up with it. I find using a microwave bean bag helps to take the pain away. I hope you get this sorted soon.
