hey everyone I'm new here....just been diagnosed, I have had scans because I have irregular periods for years but I have had pain and bleeding everyday for about 2 months now, I have cysts each side on ovaries and endo. Me and my hubby are trying for a baby, although I had ectopic and salpingectomy right side in Feb this year. So the doctor said he is not referring me to have any treatment because I am trying for a baby, he said we have to just keep trying. Is there nothing that can be done that wouldn't effect me conceiving? I have read that having this untreated can cause infertility anyway....feel like there should be something else something more, but that was it- told over the phone that I have endo and because I'm trying nothing can be done, no support no explanation of anything no offer of seeing anyone It seems he was saying I just get on with my life and ignore the pain and bleeding and hope we fall pregnant? is there anything else? Hope this makes sense!

just been diagnosed and don't know what to do now...
Sounds like you've been fobbed off! Is this coming from your GP or are you under a gynae? Given your history and your want to conceive I would push for a gynae appointment and get some proper answers and advice, especially as you're suffering.
My personal opinion is that if you're symptomatic, you need to get your health in check to be in a position to prepare your body for conception, which may mean some kind of treatment.
One thing I've learned from this condition is to be persistent - you know your body and what feels right or wrong.
Hope you get some answers soon x
I keep trying to leave comments but they keep going...this was from my GP it was diagnosed through my symptoms and an ultrasound and transvaginal scans not a laparoscopy. I think I need to do lots of research and go back to GP and asked to be referred. I don't know what level of endo I have or any info but I'm guessing they won't know that either then. he said the options were to go on the pill or have laser surgery and since we are trying they were not options I would like to talk to someone about fertility too coz all he said was to keep trying. Thank you for your reply I appreciate it, just wondered if this was all I could do but after reading lots I see I don't have to just get on with it and I can get answers. My GP is lovely so I am sure I will get some answers eventually, Thank you for your help.
