Feeling sick after taking livial with zoladex, has anyone else experienced this?

Hi, I've been on zoladex for 3 months and just started 5 days ago on livial to help with 'menopause' symptoms, feel really sick all the time. Would this have anything to do with me having gallbladder removed??? Help!

Hi - yes, I had to stop taking Livial because it made me feel so rough. Coincidentally, I have also had my gallbladder removed! LOL! but I think it is a coincidence, some people just don't get on with Livial.

If the sickness is worse than the menopause symptoms (it was for me) ask your GP if you can stop taking it, it should be fine

Sorry to hear Livial has made you feel rough. I took Livial after my 2nd Zoladex injection and it also made me feel really rough. I ended up having a very heavy period which made me feel worse than before the Zoladex. I contacted my gynae and he perscribed Prempak-C to help with side effects instead of the Livial.

The Prempak-C creates a period at the end of the month which is kinda weird as the Zoladex stops your period. I've just had my 5th injection and I feel better on Prempak-C than I did on Livial.

Hi there - Livial made me feel suicidal this time last year - I took it with Prostap3 and will never make that mistake again. Ask your consultant for an alternative. xxx
