From what I have heard NOT YET. Big organisations/charities of endo are apparently desperately trying to get it classed as a disability. One said that because it is a medical condition that is only experienced by women it hasn't been taken seriously, yet can devastate a womans life.

I've just been denied disability living allowance. I have adenomyosis, endo, restless leg syndrome, IBS and hyper mobility syndrome! god know what you need to have wrong with you to be classed as disabled. I thought disabled basically mean't un-able, apparently not! I'm too ill to have a job yet not ill enough for any benefits....so stupid!

I have heard before that because you could have surgery for endo and adenomyosis, they think you are not "allowed" to complain, let along apply for DLA! How ridiculous is that!

yet my brother has been on DLA for 15 years because of depression, maybe we should all go with that as I know my pain makes me depressed!! Makes me so cross, you know a man must've made the rules as no women related diseases are classed as a disability except cancer of course.....grrr

Why don't we all write to the government with our complaint. The more of us that do, then one day somebody has to listen. Power in people!!!!

I am fighting to get Endo recognised but can't do it alone! x
