Had my last zodalex injection

I have had my last injection 6 weeks ago and still no period? How long does it normally take? And I am still having terrable hot flushes from hrt? Can you help?

Hi Hun,

I was on Prostap which i believe is a similar injections to Zoladex - my last injection was 17 weeks ago and still no sign of my period arriving. I know everyone is different and some girls have their first within the first 3 months, i have spoke to another who waited 6 months. Unfortunately its a waiting game, keep a note of your bodily changes to keep an eye on everything and hopefully you wont have to wait too much longer. 5 months on and i've noticed a few changes but im getting fed up of waiting but as i said we are all different

not sure about when periods return as I had surgery just after last Zoladex last year however the hot flushes for me only lasted a moth or so from last injection.xx

Thank you very much ladies for your reply's. I'm now getting more and more stomache aches and the pain is getting worse than it was before I had my operation. My left ovary and fallopian tube were stuck to my bowel so they had to unstick them and they had to repair my bowel. I'm getting really fed up, my husband is trying to understand but after sex its unbareable and the responce I get is, go sit on the toilet for 10 mins!!!! How the f..k is that going to help me??? My hot flushes are subsiding slowly thank god, some could really take your breath away. All I wanna do is get pregant but I doubt that's ever going to happen. I have late stage 4 endo and my consultant says I'm one of the worst cases out of his patience!
