There is still a long way, from finding different genes/dna until the cure, there many investigations and theories the past few years, but still no certain finding of the cause. x

This is true, they are still a long way away but its still a step closer even if it is small to finding the cause, But not only that I thought it would still be a good thing to let people know that it isn't only us that are trying to make people aware of the illness and that if it is on the news and other social networks and studies more and more people with be aware and want to help.

Yes I totally agree with you on this. I am a structural engineer, working in oil and gas, a massive company full of men!

I really didnt know what to say when they asked me what is the health issue for me having surgery...

I wish more people knew.. but the worst thing is that even so many doctors are clueless, its so frustrating considering that more than 10% of women possibly have endo...

That must be a nightmare when you are in pain!? and annoying they probably wont ever fully understand about the illness.

Yes I cant believe the amount people in the medical profession that poo poo the symptoms when mentioned! Or if you mention that you think you have endometriosis, Both my surgeon (that did a Laparotomy on me!) and Consultant (who told me repeatedly that i had IBS and Depression!) told me that it wasn't endometriosis and that It was not a Gaeny problem, I pushed and pushed and finally got referred and after a lap confirmed Endo 4, I couldn't believe it and after that just wanted to help people in the same position as me and to get the word out there as much as possible really.

Feel free to join my blog for recipes ideas lovely, I'm currently trying to find all the different types of flours that are gluten, wheat or/and rice free for endometriosis sufferers so that everyone can use it as a reference, its a pain trying to find out which ones are which and for what! its going to take a while ha ha x
