Hi Skinnypgilet,

It is better to have excision, which is cutting the endo away, as the endo cannot grow back in an area that has been excised. But it can grow back where it has been laser or burnt.

Hi Skinny

My opinion is the same as Miwa's above. I was always advised by my gynae that excision is the most effective way of treating endo and preferred over laser/burning. When endo is removed by excision the surgeon can get deep enough into the tissue to remove all the visible endo and this helps prevent a recurrance.

Good luck, x
