Hi kagz, it did mine. My insides were all congeled. Together with the bladder and the bowel. That doesn't mean to say that yours are. Everyone is different. It might. Be an infection. You have in your bladder xx

Mine was, I was misdiagnosed with IBS for quite a few years, so it can have an effect on your innards.

Yes it does I'm sorry to say. Mine was diagnosed from issues with the bladder and kidneys as clots and adhesions were present in my bladder and on kidneys and I was diagnosed with something completely different till I had my first lap and thank god for me they did that op and not a more major op which I was geared up for having , not saying this is what's happening with you etc , mine started with 3 nasty infections concurrent with each other , hope you get things sorted xx

Yes unfortunately it does, I have suffered with over 100 kidney infections in the last 4 years and after no end of tests with urology they have confirmed it is endo that is causing it

Hi kagz. If you are interested to find out more you can download a factsheet on endometriosis and the bladder from the Endometriosis UK website (endometriosis-uk.org) under the publications tab - fill out the form and the leaflet will be sent to you via email. Additionally if you join as a member of Endometriosis UK our next member's magazine (Endolink) is all about endo and the bladder with really informative articles about how and why endo affects the bladder, another about using catheters and some case studies.

Hope this helps, Helen

I had endo on the surface of the bladder, amongst other places. It is very difficult to remove endo from this delicate area without doing more harm. I dont suffer from urinary urgency but I do suffer from urinary frequency which is another story and I get teased <good naturedly> by my family because of this! I think its due to the endo irritating the bladder causing me to go almost every half hour! However as with many endo symptoms its another side effect we get used to living with.
