I'm just about to start a my 3mth course of zoladex but since I was told I had endo I've been worried I won't be able to have kids. Has any one be able to conceive while havering endo and should I start trying sooner rather than later?

There certainly are quite a lot of people who manage to have children while they have endometriosis. It's really very individual. Anyway, there is certainly hope for many people.

Sounds as though you aren't getting much help from your GP and gynae. If fertility is important to you, you need to find someone who can really help explain your own situation and options to you. Perhaps you can get a second opinion from another gynae? You certainly need all the information you can get because there are some of us who do need help with conceiving, and if that affects you, you may need to pay attention to it sooner rather than later.

One thing that helped a friend of mine was traditional chinese medicine (acupuncture). I know it sounds a bit weird, but it may be worth considering, after you've finished on the zoladex.

Finally... I'm one of the people who didn't manage to have children. It was very sad, but I feel OK about it now. There are other ways to have children in your life (two of my friends ended up adopting, although I decided not to do that myself), and you can certainly have a happy and fulfilled life even if this doesn't work out for you.

Best of luck.
