Hi everyone! I get married in just under a month and I am in so much pain, I’m worried it will ruin our wedding day 🥺
I had surgery just under a year ago for stage 2 endo and things were going well but in the last month or so, the pain has come back and it’s starting to feel worse like how it was before surgery.
I don’t feel stressed about the wedding, I’m very organised - but I don’t know what to do about pain! I’ve spoken to the doctor and she has prescribed me codeine. She did suggest naproxen(?) but because I also have asthma I was reluctant to go for that just in case…
does anyone have any advice for managing your symptoms on your wedding day? 🤍

Is your pain worse during your period? You may have already thought of this, but are you able to track to see whether or not it’s due around your wedding?
Also Iv just been prescribed codeine and was asking people on here about it, and quite a few mentioned it can make you quite spacey so just worth consideration as you also don’t want to feel out of it on your wedding day.
What about a tens machine, a lot of them are really small and discreet and depending on your outfit might not be noticeable under neath? You can also get stick on heat patches if heat is something that you find helpful to control the pain. Or how about looking into a course of acupuncture leading up to your wedding day? Iv heard really good things about it for pain management 👍
I hope your able to get the pain under control and have the best day!
