Hi all, any tips on how to relieve or what provides some comfort for this specific type pain?? Shooting pains that go up and general ache/cramp feeling.

Obvs a hot water bottle is a tricky one for this…?? Is there anything that anyone has found that helps??

Thanks all.

Hey, love the frankness of your post. I tend to sit on a plug in heat pad as a bit safer. I've tried nuromol as well and take turmeric supplements to reduce inflammation but will still get pain. Such an annoying one but I do find the heat pad helps

Thank you for your reply. I’m glad that these posts are anonymous or I probably wouldn’t be so bold! 😆

Perhaps an electric heat pad would be good and I’ve heard about turmeric but not researched it so I will do and give it a go.

Hi, yes feel your pain! 😪 I dont find much helps but i do take amitriptyline (for vulvodynia) which helps manage nerve pain and I wonder it that also helps generally with these symptoms too x

Microwave wheat bag as you can really get it right up there, just make sure not too hot, and pelvic floor physio (by someone who understands endometriosis) is my recommendation!

I just searched for pelvic floor physios near me and read their info and chose one who knew a lot about managing pelvic pain and endo patients. I hope you have one not too far from you! Best of luck
