Bowel endometriosis

Hi, I was told i have a small amount of endometriosis on my right side of abdomen. But recently i have been having diarrhoea for 2 months now and i was wondering if this is a symptom anyone else would have? I also be very sore when having bowel movements. Just wondering if it has spread as my operation was feb 2023 and they never removed any of the growth.

hi sorry you’re experiencing pain. Pain with bowel movements can be a sign of endometriosis on the bowel. However, I think the advice is that if you’ve not changed your diet and you’re experiencing a change in bowel movements then it’s best to see a GP for some advice. I can’t believe they didn’t remove the endo it should’ve been cut out! Get it done asap, wish you well xx

I think it’s always best with any bowel changes to speak to your GP.

I did have endo on my bowel which was excised during a lap a few weeks ago, but I did have pain when I went to the toilet during my period / around when I was due to come on and it was always more likely to be diarrhoea around those times too.

I hope the pain can be sorted for you and you can get some answers as soon as possible!
