My period arrived today and my pain has amplified by 100. The worst pain is my thighs. The pain is radiating down from my pelvic into the thighs and upper legs it's horrendous. I already have scorched skin on my back from years of hot water bottles and finding myself clinging to them on my front now to try get relief. Pain meds aren't touching it. Is thigh / leg pain common? I've had it before but this is intense every minute of day pain barely move. On another not brighter note I tried to contact the consultant medical secretary who sent me for my mri and my egg count and was told the line doesn't work. They transferred me to another medical secretary who said 'I am working from home so I can't put you through but il send her an email'. This was Monday. I just want some clarification and it did say to ring if its been 6 weeks, well its 6 weeks.
I struggle with not having a clear plan and days like today makes the waiting worse. Thanks for reading.

Hi!Interestingly, if you look at endometriosis symptoms no one mention thigh pain. However, being here and on reddit I can tell that is actually common. I suffer from it myself. You're right. Pain killers do nothing. I tried arnica cream and even cbd. It only decreased with the pill and now that I've no period (if happens for few months when I stop the pill). I believe that is due to endometriosis foci around the nerves that pass close to the ovaries and go down to the thigh (femoral nerve).
What helps me is to do yoga and stretching. If you do positions like the cobra pose you should release some of the tension around the nerve. Same with cat-cow movements and thoracic spine poses. Doing these with deep breaths allow to release the muscular fascia and should reduce the pain on the upper leg. Sounds silly if you're in terrible chornic pain. I couldn't sleep for that for almost a year. My boyfriend couldn't touch my leg because it was causinge pain. No tight jeans or keeping the laptop on my legs. Doing those yoga exercises and keep exercising helps me a lot.
hun after I had surgery to remove my severe endo I’m getting all the pains like yourself from my groin down my left leg and siatic pain am pretty sure the endo must be in the nerve as they said they was pretty sure all visible endo removed I had about five and abit weeks ago xx
I totally agree this is endo pain I also get restless legs as well. I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia and also autism more recently. Pain is awful I can sit through a piercing or a tattoo but I can’t deal with constant persistent pain even with the pain meds nothing is helping anymore as my body is used to them xx
Thanks for replies, glad to know I'm not alone but sad to read it is happening to other people as its so debilitating. 3 days of period later and the hell continues I can barely walk at times and spend most the day lying down hunched up. I am on annual leave so atleast it hasn't affected work!
