Anyone had this? Sensation like water running down inside abdomen

Hi, I’m currently going through peri-menopause and haven’t had a period in a few months. I have endo in POD & have a lot of bowel problems as a result. Recently though I’ve had this new symptom and the only way I can describe it is a sensation like cold water running down inside my abdomen, it’s usually on one side not in the middle. Has anyone else experienced this or anything similar?

Hi, thank you for sharing. Yes I have this from time to time in my abdomen, around pelvis and down my legs (not always all of these at the same time). Definitely that water running sensation. I also get hot-cold sensations (I can’t tell if it feels really hot or really cold …. Kind of ‘minty’). I have Adeno and awaiting diagnosis on he Endo through 2nd laparoscopy in 5 weeks time.

Hi, thanks for replying, as I hadn’t seen this weird symptom described by anyone else, it’s good to know I’m not alone in this! Do you know or have you been told what causes the sensation?

Could it be your hormones converting to adrenalin? That's the only thing I can think of xxx
