Bleeding / spotting for over 6 weeks. Should I seek advice or is it just a bad flare up? Really starting to get me down now!

Hello!Just looking for some advice! I take Northisterone to induce a bleed if I haven't had one for 12 weeks. So Sunday 4th Feb I started 5mg twice a day for 7 days, 3 days after stopping I started spotting which then turned into my actual period the following day. I had my period (heavy flow) for 6 days and then I have continued to spot pretty much every day since.

I have chronic pelvic pain daily anyway which I just crack on with because as you all know we have no choice! When my period is a heavy flow my pain is debilitating however, when I am bleeding doesn't matter how light my pain levels are always higher than usual. This means means my pain levels have been hightended EVERY DAY for nearly 7 weeks (since 13th Feb) and the impact it is having on my mental health is massive. I've had to have a week off work sick and to be honest don't even know how I have gone back because things haven't improved.

Is it just a flare up I've got to ride out or if I contact my GP do you think they could do anything?

Alongside my Endo I have PCOS (and Adenomyosis) so I usually don't have any bleeding (or the occasional spotting). I have just started taking the Free Soul PCOS supplements to see if they maybe balance my hormones but nothing so far.

Any advice welcomed as I think I'm going to lose the plot!

I'm sorry to hear and understand. I would say always go back to your GP.You can use the NHS 111 service (for UK) if it's difficult to get through to your GP.

I hope you get some respite soon.
