Fainting (vasovagal syncope) and going to the toilet

I have fainted twice now from stabbing pain when going to the toilet for diareahea. I wet myself both times. But did need a wee at the time so I don't think that's anything.

Who else experiences this? What can you do about it?

At the gp I just saw a nurse who checked my blood pressure.

I can't get a referral as the hospital sent a letter saying there were no appointments.

I have young kids. I've really hurt my shoulder in the fall and freaked out my husband. I don't want it to keep happening.

Hi Jen, sorry to hear this that must have been really scary. I've never had this myself to the point I've passed out but do suffer with pain when using the toilet. Do you have a diagnosis already?
