hi, just looking for a little advice.
I’ve been on Prostap 3 for just over 2 years with HRT. I have had to stop taking my HRT in Preparation for surgery this month as it thins your blood. Since stopping taking my HRT I’ve started to bleed and not sure if it’s normal. The prostap is still in my system until the end of feb so would have thought it would still prevent me from bleeding. Anyone had a similar thing?
Hiya, I'm in the same boat been on this for 2 years also, I had my last injection in October haven't experienced any bleeding yet, but I have read that some people take 3 months some less to bleed again however have you experienced any symptoms coming of this? I'm struggling badly with mood,insomnia etc it's horrendous xx
I'm 29 and have been on Prostap for more than 2 years now too. I actually had a top up injection this morning (mine are 4-weekly). My moods are extremely low but the endo pain being gone is a literal miracle. I've almost forgotten how unbearable it all was. The only thing I'm really really struggling with is the brain fog. The brain fog at this point is absolutely the hardest part for me. I can't wait to get off it, but the wait lists are super long (I'm also anxious about bleeding again once I'm taken off it, I do feel really dependent).
One thing I really wouldn't advise is going through profound grief on Prostap. I don't know if anybody can relate to that, but I very suddenly lost my fiance and experiencing that much grief when your hormones and moods are as low as they already are on Prostap... it was absolutely the worst part of all of this.
What is the maximum time you can be on prostap 3 injections?
