just needing a hand hold I think. I had my lap just over 2 weeks ago with endo removed around left ovary and also from rectum.
Thought things were going quite well but I’m now for past few days in lead up to ovulation and getting all my usual symptoms but feel even worse - constipation (difficulty going, feeling I need to go but can’t, and painful bowel movement but actually stools can be quite soft/runny), rectal pain so it is hard to tell if I need to go or just having pain and pressure, left pelvic pain, pain down left leg and in my lower back. just feeling really deflated I’ve put myself through the surgery (and expense) to feel worse not better.
Anyone felt like this and found it does improve? I feel like I’m a complete mess from the belly button down. Definitely don’t feel I can have sex right now but know chances of conception are highest soon after surgery 😩.

Hey, you actually just replied to my post and I’ve just been through something really similar and came out the other side, so I can tell you it does definitely get better in the short term (hopefully long term too!)
I’m so sorry to hear what you’re going through. I had a lap on 3rd December and thought I was doing fine, until my period came earlier this week. I had some endo burnt off my left ovary and it felt like someone was stabbing me in it, waking me up through the night, in way worse pain than I have ever experienced before. I also had bowel adhesions removed, although my bowel movements have actually been pretty ok and not painful. I made sure I was eating a high fibre diet, which may help. I was in pain for three days straight pretty bad, but today I feel fine, like a switch flicked. I’m hoping the same happens for you too. As for sex, I’m the same, that’s going to have to wait. Although the dr said to me I can try straight away, I have zero confidence in drs to know anything other than exactly what they trained in. So I’m going to try when intuitively I think my body is ready. The left side has been so inflamed that personally, I don’t think those particular eggs (or egg!) ready to go when I ovulate in two weeks could be up to the job, after what my bodies been through.
It’s most likely to be pain due the surgery, rather than endo coming back so soon. All of your reproductive system has been poked & prodded during the surgery and ovulation will make those surgical traumas flare up again. I had similar post-surgery but am now three months on and don’t have it at all x
