Endometriosis secretary always busy

I got transferred to a endometriosis specialist team in October via letter due to my mri results, I've not heard anything since and I've been trying to ring the team and every time the line has been busy or it's just rang until the call has dropped 😭I just want to ask how long the waiting list is and to definitely check I'm on the list since I've fallen through the nhs cracks before and they only realised that after I rang.

Has anyone else experienced this? It seems impossible to get through to the specialist team 😕

I’ve had this. It’s so frustrating…. I have been trying to get through to mine recently and failing also,

It’s not just endo/gynae, I had to wait 6 weeks (letter advised me to wait 3) following a colonoscopy which was checking for bowel cancer (I didn’t have it). When I called after 3 weeks to find out what was happening I was scolded for being impatient.

I think you need to be persistent.

I suspect this is very frustrating for the nhs staff involved also.

Lodge your issue via PALS and get them to nudge the communication line.

yes me too I had an mri and no one told me what my results were I’m in constant agony and I may still be waiting till next June even though since June my symptoms have worsened it’s stupid and eventually when I get through they don’t know what am on about so in the end went to doctors and they are writing to my surgeon again as most days now I can hardly walk or get out of bed :( I do sympathise with you xxx
