Hi this is my first post though I’ve been reading everyone’s stories and tips for a while which has helped me get my head around my diagnosis! I have finally gotten my diagnosis early this year and am waiting to have a 6cm endomitrioma removed they are planning for keyhole but I’m super nervous about this as I’ve never had any kind of surgery before so wondered if anyone had any advice for before or after surgery.

Hi Tuckador

Best of luck with your surgery, it can be a scary time. There are lots of great discussions and posts on the forums here about prep and aftercare that you will be able to find in the search and in the topics in the right sidebar.

The better prepared you are beforehand I think the more comfortable you will feel.

Just know that everyone's experience can be a bit different so there's a lot of value in seeing what's worked for others and how that might map with your own situation.

Not what you're looking for?
