Yes, I’m afraid so. Endo can still be active after you stop menstruating, and fibrosis caused by the endo can also continue to give you pain. I’m now 67, still on strong pain relief.
A lot of doctors will tell you that it stops after menopause though, despite recent research.

I just used Google! The most recent European guidelines (ESHRE Ithink) make reference to endo post menopause. The pain killers do help, yes, thanks.
Yes. There is a research text from Harvard University that discuss this. I found it on the internet a few years ago. You could give it to your GPs/Practice Manager.
I believe you can my consultant said even if I have a hysterectomy it could still be there and cause pain, come back. It can initially work then pain within 2/3 months.
