Endometriosis and high cholesterol

I'd love to know how many of us with gyno issues like endo also have been diagnosed with high cholesterol.

No just endometriosis. I think its an inflammatory thing. My theory is if you have an inflammatory condition it raises your cholesterol. I say this because i know someone with ankylosing spondylitis who also has high cholesterol,

I got tested for that when I had a terrible back years ago.

I totally agree. It's all to do with inflammation

I have severe Endo, fibroids and underactive thyroid (which also increases cholesterol) and my levels are normal. I believe this is only the case because when I became unwell 4 years ago I radically improved my diet (no red meat, high fibre, lots of plants) and committed to lots of walking. It’s not inevitable, even with multiple diagnoses that increase your levels.

No high cholesterol but can't get iron levels up. Back on ferrograd as active iron useless and forget galfer because talk about increasing pain...
