Breast lumps on prostap and tibolone

I have been on prostap injections for ten months, these have definitely helped with pelvic pain and my mood, my consultant said I could do a year, although I seen a new consultant who is trained in endo and he said you can now do two years safely with the lastest research. I noticed last month my breast was painful like a bruise feeling and I could feel a small lump, I seen my GP who said she could feel it and two other small lumps and one under my armpit, I have been red flagged to the breast clinic who I see next week, I have since noticed another small lump under the top of my arm, I am extremely worried, I take tibolone with the injections to counteract the menopause symptoms, they said being on hormone medication can maybe develop fibroids or cysts? Has anyone had this?

Hi Tootie. I am sorry you are going through this. I had similar when on Prostap and HRT. I had a rock hard lump about the size of a 50p in the left upper part of my breast. My gp referred me under the 2 week rule. Mine was normal and they said it was probably caused by all of the hormone treatment. I stopped the HRT and the Prostap was stopped. It has practically disappeared.Good luck lovely. I found the treatment in breast clinic fantastic. I had an exam, scan and mammogram and results within an hour. Xx
